Ep. 1: The Official Version

On January 17th, 1997, Joe, Barbara and Heather Stocks were murdered in their home in Lonoke, Arkansas. The only immediate family member still alive, their son Heath, is serving life without parole for their murders. There are many layers to this story that we will dive into throughout this series. This first episode is the official version as it is on record.

Ep. 2: The Stocks Family

In 1993, four years before the Stocks family was found murdered in their home, charges were brought against Jack Walls by Doug Hogan, a 16 year old boy in a neighboring town. After Heath is charged with 3 counts of Capital Murder, Mac Carder and Lance Womack, death penalty attorney and his investigator from Little Rock, arrive in Lonoke, AR and prepare to represent him. As they begin to put together their defense, they are met with unexpected obstacles from within the town.
In this episode, Mac and Lance share what it was really like to investigate the Stocks family murders, while Heath's aunts, Janice and Bonnie, give the family's perspective on how the case and legal proceedings were handled.
